Saw our first of season Louisiana Waterthrush at the FIU Biscayne Bay Campus today. We heard from Michelle Davis that she saw her FOS Louisiana Waterthrush on Friday last week. Shorebirds are making moves as of late too. Small numbers of shorebirds are being seen almost every day here on campus. Today there were a few peeps on the sandbar along with a Willet (11 days late buddy) a Semi-palm Plover and a Dunlin. Time to start searching for birds in the sod farms and beaches!
