Short-tailed Hawks are rarely seen in the Everglades during the summer but are more likely if you visit central Florida. I also want to make sure that you realize that you likely won't see Cape Sable Seaside Sparrows at Mahogany Hammock itself; they are found along the main park road in sawgrass prairie past the Mahogany Hammock turnoff. About 1/2 mile past the turnoff is a good place to start looking.
Finally, there has to be someone out there who can provide a good current location for the cowbirds, especially Bronzed, which are now locally common in Hialeah and elsewhere in Miami-Dade. I'm not sure if the Toys R Us parking lot in Hialeah (SE corner of W 49 Street and W 4 Avenue) is currently reliable.
