I had the bird at 12:15 today just long enough for me to i.d. it. Three men walked over with lawn mowers and began mowing around me and under the tree with the bird!
After cooling off at the beach nearby, I returned at 2:00, where I ran into Bruce Purdy. We could not relocate the bird by 3:00, but he is still there as far as know.
