Birding Minnesota

Hi everyone,
I have been reading this bird board for quite some time and post comments every now and then when I am in South Florida (live in Santa Barbara now).

Might any of you respectable birders shed some light on birding in Minnesota? I am going there for an extended Memorial Day Weekend (Friday - Tuesday) and hoping to get some good photography in, if the weather is cooperative. I have most of the Minnesota birding books but am having a hard time finding a place that would be like Okeeheelee or Green Cay or even Castellow Hammock that has feeders where I can easily get close-ups of all the typical feeder birds. I would especially like to find a place that puts out jelly feeders to get some Baltimore Oriole or even Tanager shots (love those Scarlet Tanagers but they are SOOOO elusive!) Even a bird bath would do!

I would appreciate comments from anyone who has birded anywhwere in Minnesota and can help me find feeders or good reliable places to photograph the orioles and tanagers. I will also be looking for Red-headed Woodpeckers, any warbler hotspots, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Indigo Buntings. I think I've given up hope of finding a Great Gray Owl in the summertime.

Thank you for your help.

Daniel B
