Assuming nothing has changed since I saw the two Red-footed Boobies on April 24, you will have to stay overnight in order to see them. They have been coming in to roost on Long Key in the late afternoon (about 6PM on the 24th). You will need a scope. The best vantage point is from the dock on Garden Key.
