This morning there was some activity on our way into work but after the first band of rains, birds were really out and about. After lunch we ventured out even though the skies were gray and threatening but good thing we did. Lots of birds around campus with many of the same species you observed Jim. We did not see any Tennessee Warblers or RB Hummingbirds but could have missed them. We did however see a Yellow-billed Cuckoo and Louisiana Waterthrush.

We just took a quick stroll (5p.m.) and found more birds in the mangroves as if they had just "fell out" feeding like crazy and singing! Guess Cape FL and North Dade is the place to be this spring Toe.

Almost forgot to mention that we are at FIU Biscayne Bay Campus which is five minutes from Arch Creek.
