Disclaimer: for the purposes of this discussion, "migrants" is a shortened version of "Neotropical Migrants", and refers to species that breed in North America and winter in Central and South America and the Caribbean. I will further refine this definition to include only those species that are for the most part only see in S. FL during spring and fall migrations. Some examples are Blackburnian Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Swainson's Thrush, Warbling Vireo, and so on. Not saying we should be seeing THESE specific species, just using them as examples. So I ask again, where are the migrants? Reports from throughout the state are pretty slow on the migrant front. Please, no more catbird or bunting posts.
