I'd like to thank Joe for a great walk despite the limited number of birds. I had visions of the Live Oaks dripping with migratory warblers but I guess that was not to be this time.

I know that there were many knowledgeable botanists on the walk and would ask if they might help me identify the plants in the link below by responding off-forum and I will update the captions.

Beth and I enjoyed lunch at Havana Spice (thanks to Paul B for introducing it to us on the Exotics trip last December) and then tried for Bulbuls, Parakeets, and/or Spot-breasted Orioles in the Baptist Hospital and Kendale School areas. Despite the fact that MattV found them (TASboard posting earlier today), we came up empty and retreated home to Palm Beach County hopeful that the migration will make it to Spanish River Park soon.
