A trip to Cape Florida from noon-2 PM was a terrible time of day, but I easily gathered 13 warbler species. The best was a Swainson's located on the Pond Trail, 100 yds south of the restroom road intersect. It was in a thick privet stand -- same spot as one on April 8. Many birds seem to have moved out, but midday birding may skew the numbers. Also: Barn Swallow, Gray Kingbird (also setting up territories in front of Winn Dixie), Painted Bunting and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
