Two species of Macaws

I have had a few new yard birds although maybe not officially countable I don't really care! I had two Black-hooded Parakeets (these are on the Florida list)fly by my feeders two days ago. It looked like they wanted to stop but continued on without stopping. A Cockatiel flew by the day before the Black-hooded Parakeets, it also did not stop. Yesterday I had a beautiful Scarlet Macaw fly by, it certainly looked like it wanted to stop. Unfortunately it did not, perhaps the dog scared all of them away. Today while at Coral Reef Park in Cutler Bay, a couple of Blue and Yellow Macaws flew into some Black Olive trees. They preened for quite some time.

That is what is neat about living in south Florida, you just never know what is going to show up!
