After 5 minutes, a B-T Grackle harassed it and it flew to a sandbar farther out, then for no apparent reason it flew off to the SE out of Cutler Wetlands proper. Hopefully it just left to roost for the night somewhere else and will return.
Great find Paul! Like Chico Escuela used to say: Cutler Wetlands bean bery bery good to me.
