Greetings! I'll be arriving in Coral Gables next Saturday, 4-9. I have a very small target bird list, the rest of my trip shall be spent herping. I'm wondering if anyone might give me some last minute advice/assurance on these few Birds I'm worried about missing:
1. I'm landing in Fort Lauderdale. I was hoping to find Smooth-billed Ani up there, but the recent report sounds grim... I'll be in the Everglades two full days and on the Keys two full days during my visit. Anyplace I can find Anis???
2. Snail Kite, hoping for a good photo, any advice?
3. Spot-breasted Oriole, sounds like it may be a problem, can anyone share any recent sightings?
4. Antillean Nighthawk, any yet?
