I arrived at about 1900 hours and did not see a single gull. The third time in my life I've chased a bird, my percentage of success is very low! Stayed until dark. First time to Crandon Park and did not have a pleasant experience with a gate attendent due to the tennis event. The attendent would not tell me where the Nature Center was. He told me I was not allowed to park to see a bird. Didn't stop me...found another attendent who was very helpful in pointing me to the right direction. I've tried to see the bronzed cowbirds at Eagle Lakes, is there a particular place that is best to see them? I typically bird in the Naples/Marco area.
