Well, I didn't find a Zenaida Dove. I still think there is a good possibility that was what it was. Work will preclude more searching on my part, but if anyone else is interested, I'll give the best directions I can. Going south from Robert is Here, the first road on the right is SW 354 st. After looking at the area, I think the bird crossed SR 9336 either just north or just south of SW 354 st. My best guess is about halfway between SW 354 st. and the Florida City Forestry Station (which is farther south). I walked the entire area from Robert is Here to the forestry station and also down SW 354 st. (which leads to the J. Robert Dean Water Treatment Facility). That's all I have, good luck.
