Yesterday I birded Anhinga Trail, Gumbo Limbo TRail and walked to Gate 13 then drove to Long Pine Key. The Louisiana WT was at the "water" overlook off Gumbo Limbo trail. It was a "10" warbler day but nothing unusual and I missed Blk-throated Green, Blue and Worm-eating. I also missed the Swallow-tailed Kites that I was hoping to see and others saw. Pileated and Red-bellied were busy fine tuning nesting cavities and two N.Flickers seemed to be flirting. Brown-headed Nuthatches were at Long Pine Key picnic area.
