While walking around Crandon Gardens (Key Biscayne) this afternoon, I met RI birders who reported Louisiana Waterthrush using the newly restored pond. Louisianas show up in western NC by the third week in March so recent sightings here seem timely.

The south part of the gardens is a good place to see White-crowned Pigeons in late afternnon. They seem to head to a roosting area nearby and are fairly reliable.
