In light of the fact that Thayers, Sibley, Pranty, National Geographic, Kale & Maehr, Ted Floyd, and many internet sites have exhaustive descriptions of birds, and the University that Carlos and Alex attend/did attend have many books on ornithology to draw from, and the ENP Research Center has a few more how reliable can a description be? Anyone could just copy that. I agree with you that a photograph (capture)would be more conclusive especially since the EXIF data is imprinted on the jpg/raw version and serves well for distance, time, date, camera, etc.
