Hello folks,
Wesylin Strickland called me this morning to tell me that She and Henry had been turned away at the gate of STA-5 by South Florida Water Management District Staff. They were that told that the area is off limits and no one is allowed past the gates. They were told to
contact Fred Davis at 1-561-682-2773 to comment or question the closing. It may also be good to call the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at 1-954-746-1789.
Has anyone else run into SFWMD or FWCC staff out there? Might be a good idea to make a couple phone calls.
