You never described the call, which adds to the skepticism, as does the fact that you didn't seem to consider it unusual (and mentioned vireos, not just one).
If it was the song, how did you separate it from the expected Blue-headed Vireo? If it was the call, can you describe it?
Considering whether a report is worthy of respect, I always have deep skepticism concerning any report of a significant rarity that contains no details about the bird. When it is then followed by several more posts without any additional information, I get more skeptical.
