I was at Anhinga Trail Sunday 1/23; I did not see the Ani but also thought I heard it call from the north/northeast (but just once). I also had King Rail, 2 very close Limpkins, and more Purple Gallinules (6) than I've seen there in a long time.
At Lucky Hammock, I had Brown-crested Flycatcher, plus a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher perching in a tree right in the hammock. Oh, and about 200 Palm Warblers, including several Easterns...
