There are no recent reports that I can think of. Then again, I don't know of too many people looking. The view of Snake Bight from the trail is obstructed my mangroves (the addition of a small tower would be more than helpful), and most people are not willing to paddle out with a rented kayak or canoe from Flamingo unless there have been recent reports.
I do know that there are flamingo surveys from time to time. Asking the rangers at the Flamingo Visitor Center may be more helpful than the board, at least at the moment.
