It may well be a Peninsula Ribbon Snake, but I believe the reptile it is eating is a young Brown Basilisk, a Central and South American lizard (introduced and thriving in South Florida, of course) that share the waterways where the anis are native too. This ani may not feel all that far from Panama or South America.
