I can't see why this bird is not a Greater Ani, I at first thought that it was a Groove-billed Ani. I did look at the eye and just thought that lighting or something made it look different. I now don't think is is lighting and that this is the true eye color of the bird!! If that is the case, than it has to be a Greater Ani!! Unless it is a Groove-billed Ani with a messed up eye. But then again I have never seen a Groove-billed Ani with a bill that is like this bird, it looks a little to big but perhaps small for a Greater Ani. So this could mean that it is a young bird which would explain the bill.
All birders should search the area as much as possible to find the bird and take more photos!!!
