Hi all, spent Sunday morning at Okeeheelee Nature Center in West Palm Beach. We saw 3 pairs of Painted Buntings and 2 pairs of Indigo Buntings around the feeder. the Indigo males are at two different stages of coming into their color, and it will be fun to visit them each week to check on their progess. We saw four Wood Ducks at a distance on the canal at the back (north) border of the property. Nice flock of pine warblers near the deer enclosure, also palms and yellow-rumps. Had our FOTS N. Parula in the oaks east of the nature center. A beautiful male bird in fresh spring plumage.
