I saw the bird last Saturday morning and noticed the bird had no tail. I met with the person who initially located the bird on the Tuesday previous. Sorry, I can not recall his name right now. He stated that the bird had no tail when he found it. Also, the bird appeared to have a deep scratch on the bill. He is also the one who arranged to have the area roped off.
