We got to Palm Coast at 10:30 Monday a.m. The area was roped off with instructions to approach from the other side. On the short walk there, we ran into Rick Blanchett and Bob Pace. The bird was in the same spot it has been for days; if we had gone around the rope, we might have stepped on it. It didn't move around much at all, just stayed in the grass munching on seeds. The bird has no tail! If someone knows if this just occurred, please post.
