This morning, I hiked the impoundments of Harold Campbell Day Use Area (STA-3/4) on Holeyland Road in southern Palm Beach County. Hunters were out in full force in sections of the STA outside the day use area; the almost constant gunfire provided a rather unwelcome soundtrack to my visit. Still lots of birds, though:
