Please take a few minutes and report seeing the wild macaws on the international parrot count to take place in January 2011. Go to www.cml.leiden.edu/parrot.html. or just e mail me. Your original count of nine was probably correct as there are always 9 at my feeder. The one you didn't capture in your picture was probably acting as a "look out" and was probably higher up and away from the other eight and working as a sentinel.
