What a wild morning....

Toe said lets go check out Research Rd, maybe well see something odd..... Shortly after reaching the bend near the missle base... "GOOSE"!

The Goose responded to my goose call... honk, honk.... honk. It changed course towards the call.

I got as good of a look at the goose anyone was going to get. I'm certain it was a Blue Goose.

Shortly after we heard Sedge Wren calling just off the road. Shortly after one perched in a bush giving great looks(since I'm a slacker and left my camera in the car) and Toe was able to get a couple of pics.

White-tailed Kite is always nice to see. Unfortunately I haven't seen a Short-eared owl yet in the locations reliable last year!

Everyone was looking at the calling Wied's Crested Flycatcher while Jocelyn and I were getting good looks at the Rose-breasted Grosbeak in the bush right next to everyone else.

When the Pipits flew over I missed getting a photo, but we did get a few shots of a Barn Swallow.
