I stopped twice at the SW 107 Street rock pit: this morning at about 8:30 AM and this afternoon about 2:00 PM. No ducks were present this morning; a female Ruddy Duck was in the northwest corner of the lake this afternoon. Numbers of Ring-billed Gulls, along with a few Lesser Black-backed Gulls were along the western shore of the lake, where construction of some sort continues.
Lots of gulls continue at Cutler Wetlands, including at least one Franklin's Gull.
