In case some are not aware, the Thick-billed Vireo is a pretty rare bird in ABA terms, with a difficulty factor of 4. The highest is 5 for living birds (6 means extinct). Other category 4 birds include such novelties as Baikal Teal and Great Spotted Woodpecker. In other words, if you want to see a Thick-billed Vireo, go chase. This one is a county first for me. I hope to be back tomorrow morning for a photo.
