Jaeger off Key Largo

I was fishing off The Elbow in Key Largo when a jaeger swooped over my boat and hovered for a few seconds. I am positive it was a jaeger, and am leaning towards pomarine. It seemed pretty big. Are these regularly sighted here, or could it have been a parasitic? Any tips on ID? Thanks.
