The season so far at Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP has been eerily quiet and seemingly devoid of passerines, but late this morning I found a small flock of new warblers. Mixed in with the usuals were 3 Northern Parulas, an Orange-crowned and a Nashville Warbler. I found the Nashville twice; it gives its usual sharp (almost metallic) "tsip" in addition to a soft flight call. The Nashville seems slightly brighter than adult female and has a frayed tail.

Wintering warblers are sparse in the park compared to last year. The usual Orange-crowned, Ovenbird and Northern Parula were in their regular spots.
