Saturday was a huge success! I think we ended the day at 72 birds wrapping it up with a Brown Thrasher (lifer for me). I went to Corkscrew the next day and saw:
Carolina Wren (lifer)
American Redstart
Red-eyed Vireo
White-eyed Vireo
Prothonotary (lifer)
Red-shouldered hawk
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker
Tufted Titmouse
Worm-eating Warbler
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Great-crested Flycatcher
Black-bellied Whistling Duck
Crested Caracara
Cardinals
I didn't fully bird because most of the activity was in the upper canopy of the cypress trees. I'm sure there was another warbler species I couldn't see. Worth another look sometime.
