The Black-crowned Night Heron was nowhere to be seen at Castellow Hammock today (Friday, Dec. 5). Perhaps it got its fill of snails. Today after "work" I'm going home and sipping some fine rum out by our natural pool. After a dozen or so shots maybe I'll see tree snail-eating Night Herons again! Cheers to everyone.
