may i ask your age? i have read your posts for a number of years and think we might be about the same age. being from new england i'm very aware of the heat here and i'm pretty conservative in what i try to do, especially in the summer. a couple of questions. isn't most of the water in the everglades potable? if i started to cramp i think i would take the chance even if i was not sure. did you consider this? how about collecting water during the storm? you were smart to call 911 because i think cramping while 7 miles from your destination is a recipe for disaster. i'm glad you are fully recovered and i sent this story to several friends as a warning. i enjoy your posts and would hate to lose you.
