Coral Snake Boy:

Along with the rest of the Caloosa Bird Club (Ft. Myers), I once saw the largest Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake that I've ever seen in my life, leisurely slitherling along 232nd. This was in 2001 I believe. Award-winning nature photographer, Frank Moore, got down on his belly and photographed it. It was probably seven-feet long and thicker than my arm! Yikes!

Good herping.

: I'm an interested herp. Any idea what snake species you were seeing? If it was too dark to tell, were they big and fat like water mocs, or slender and short like mud snakes, or slender and long like racers? I'm much interested in anything you can tell me.

: Sincerely,
: Coral Snake Boy
