Bird was alternating between highest branches of two trees in that same median.
I had same thought on breeding; I did not see a second bird and nothing that looked like singing bird moving towards a nest. It may be worth monitoring.
I've seen their nests in Monroe County portion of Big Cypress; one year it was in a big ball of Spanish Moss right alongside Loop Rd.
