Also had 2 small flocks of Red-necked Phalaropes booking it to the north!

As an aside, does anyone know the names of the beetles that are swarming around now (the small brown ones with black heads)? I have a bunch of them on the front door screen. In spanish, we called them "Gallegos" but I have no idea what they're called in English, or a proper Spanish name for them.

I'll have pictures from the trip up tomorrow when I get back to Bradenton.
