It is hard to say for sure but your description of the song seems to fit Northern Parula. Another key field mark you pointed out would be the orange breast patch which is displayed by the males. See the attached link for audio recordings of Northern Parula to compare to what you heard. Make sure to play the recordings that indicate (song)in the type column. Hope this helps.
