Really loud trilling calls led me all over Pine Island Ridge this AM while dog walking and this is what I saw: a small warbler sized bird fairly high in a mature oak tree exhibiting worm-eating behavior, while singing every so often - a long loud trilling sound with a note at the end. (I thought I was following a flycatcher of some sort until I saw this little critter.) Dark back, buff/dunn pale under, smallish head, plain shaped tail, what looked like a largish yellow beak, AND a orangy colored, darkish throat which was distinctive. What is it!? Can't figure out about the beak - maybe it was holding a yellow worm? It was exiting :)
