Brian is correct. There is only one record (a specimen) of a _floridanus_ Grasshopper Sparrow outside its endemic dry prairie habitat in south-central Florida. That was a bizarre record unlikely to b repeated (the race is now critically endangered and limited to 3 or 4 sites).

Plus, their median stripe is no wider than that of the _pratensis_ race that breeds in much of the eastern U.S. and winters widely in Florida. The upperparts of _floridanus_ are darker but the median stripe is the same width.
