My daughter and I came over on Monday to hook-up on the ani. Sounded like a pretty good opportunity. Spent four hours on the trail in a morning and an afternoon session. Got good looks at purple gallinules, but no ani while we were there. On the bright side we did get the brown-crested flycatcher at Lucky Hammock and a Louisiana waterthrush on the Gumbo Limbo trail.
