Laurence,
I saw two Egyptian Geese resting on a small island at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida, at about 7:30am on February 11, 2010. They were on the backside of the island behind a lot of brush so I didn't try to photograph them. I have seen Egyptian Geese in Kenya and Botswana, previously, but never in Florida before. Egyptian Geese have been photographed at Wakodahatchee Wetlands before so I didn't appreciate the significance of the sighting until I read your post on the TAS BirdBoard. See the archives on Peter Schulz's web gallery at www.peterpeterpeter.com.
