I spent 9 hours in a boat searching Florida Bay yesterday with no luck. The only time I have seen one was in the Rowdy Bend section of Snake Bight, which is the western most part of Snake Bight, from a canoe. It was feeding as the tide was coming in. I have gone back to this area twice since with no luck. The view from the end of Snake Bight Trail is really limited compared to the view from a boat, and there is a lot of space out there...
