Geez man, take a deep breath and count to 10.

The ABA Rules do not force anybody to count a species that they are not comfortable counting.

As mentioned in previous posts, the booby was transported to the rehab facility, where it spent three months recuperating. While it may have regained the ability to fly away -- and thereby is countable under ABA's rules -- it is not at all behaving like a typical sulid, in that it flies in to be fed every day.

I wouldn't count the bird if I saw it, and Rusty has every right to feel the same way.

As I also posted before, from a biological (rather than listing) viewpoint, the bird did not count on the Dade County Christmas Bird Count given its recent history.
