Is this a Common Loon? Dania Pier

Try to post 2 photos of this bird we had fun watching in high wind and waves, contentedly preening and paddling with it's huge feet, occasionally diving. Large, long-bodied bird, white breast and all underneath, massive long sharp beak on small head and eyes, faint striped pattern on dark brownish-black back, huge trailing, paddling, webbed-like, blue grey feet. Not much of a tail but short/wide. can't figure out pics, I am going to guess it's a Common Loon. Great views of this bird and it's activity from the pier end in Dania.
