In Miami-Dade, they're are an irregular very rare to rare or maybe uncommon migrant, and a regular rare to uncommon visitor statewide. In fall 2004, at least 4 visited Miami-Dade.
They can be hard to see and I think they are often overlooked. Several have been spotted in birder's yards in Miami-Dade, including mine and Toe's
They are present in much of the western US & Canada in summer, not just Arizona.
