The area you seem to be describing is the Lennar Flow-way but has been dubbed the "Toe Flow-way ever since Roberto Torres found a Eurasian Wigeon there in 2007. The spot has been looking good for some time now but has been pretty devoid of birds; best bird we have seen there this year was a Lark Sparrow.
