I was crusing on Sunday afternoon and drove past a wetland area on the west side of 87th Ave. just north of the Blackpoint marina area. In reviewing the map, I think it is just north of 232nd St. There is a bike path and a canal paralleling the road, and a subdivision on the other side of the wetland.
I only had a few minutes but it looked pretty promising. There were at least 50 Glossy Ibis and a Tyrannus kingbird that I wasn't able to get on in time to ID.
I'm curious, has anyone checked out this spot before?
